Microblading

Add beautiful shape to your brow, that frames the face Define sparse or over-plucked brows, no more brow pencil Restore the appearance of realistic, natural looking brows

PLEASE NOTE: If you have previous eyebrow tattoos you MUST send photos to be considered for our services at info@gretasbeautybar.com

Imagine having fuller looking, perfectly shaped brows everyday… no worries about your makeup smudging, or getting them wet, or reapplying makeup throughout the day. Microblading is a manual technique used to create the appearance of brow hairs. This yields a realistic and natural result that can give the brow a fuller appearance. This technique enables us to create crisp, fine “hair” strokes that can help to fill in thin brows or brows with bald spots. It also allows us to create total brow reconstruction for those who have completely bare brows and/or have been impacted by a condition which has reduced or eliminated their brow hair growth. Prior to the procedure we will shape and customize your brows to a size and shape that compliments your facial features and brings out your eyes. We will also select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone baring in mind undertones and skin conditions.

Microblading does not require any tweezing, waxing, plucking, or shaving of the brows and does not damage the existing brow hair. Topical anesthetics are applied during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately 2.5 – 3 hours and there is no “downtime”. A touch-up is required 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure. After that touch-ups are recommended yearly to maintain color and crispness of the strokes.

PLEASE NOTE: For the first 7-10 days, eyebrows will appear darker, bolder, and thicker due to scab formation and the natural skin healing process of the immune system. This is common and to be expected for all permanent makeup procedures.

PLEASE NOTE: Microblading is not for everyone…. For clients with oily skin, microblading strokes may fade faster and need more touchups. If you have oily skin, we recommend a powder or a combination brows.

Get the best of both worlds with this amazing technique! The combo brow combines the hair strokes of microblading with the shading. This achieves the most natural look possible for the brow with more of a 3D effect. This technique is good for those who have particular emptiness in their brows or patchy spots, and/or for those who just want a fuller looking brow. Prior to the procedure we will shape and customize your brows to a size and shape that compliments your facial features and brings out your eyes. We will also select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone baring in mind undertones and skin conditions. POWDER BROWS

Add beautiful shape to your brows that frames your face. Define sparse or over-plucked brows – no more brow pencil. Restore the appearance of realistic, natural-looking brows.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have previous eyebrow tattoos, you MUST send photos to info@gretasbeautybar.com to be considered for our services.

No more filling in your brows! This is a machine technique which achieves a natural soft powder look. By brushing the skin with a single nanoneedle, we build the pigment layer by layer, producing a gradient of color from dark to light. This mimics the natural color progression of the brow from the tail and the core to the bulb. Ombre is a technique that is less selective in terms of ideal candidacy and can be more successful for those with oily/acne-prone skin, aging skin, sensitive skin, and even those who have had previous permanent makeup. Prior to the procedure, we will shape and customize your brows to a size and shape that compliments your facial features and brings out your eyes. We will also select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone, baring in mind undertones and skin conditions. Ombre does not require any tweezing, waxing, plucking, or shaving of the brows and does not damage the existing brow hair. Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately 2.5 – 3 hours, and there is no “downtime”. A touch-up is required 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure. After that, touch-ups are recommended yearly to maintain color richness and shape.

Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for any clients who have the following below:

  • Viral infections and/or diseases
  • Epilepsy
  • Pacemaker or major heart problems
  • Organ transplant
  • Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
  • Sick (cold, flu, etc.)

Before Care

  • Do not work out the day of the procedure.

  • No alcohol or caffeine 1 day before the procedure.

  • Eyebrow tinting should be done or removed 48 hours before the procedure.

After Care & Healing

Your post procedure care consists of cleaning your eyebrows with cotton pads and water every 2–3 hour after your procedure. Apply the healing balm before bed. On the next day clean the balm and then brows should be DRY HEALED for the next 10 days. This means that your brows cannot get wet at all. We will provide you with protective visors for showering. It would be best to wash and cleanse your face with a washcloth or wipes for these ten days to avoid any splashing on your brows. In addition, not profuse sweating (exercising, hot yoga and the sauna

will have to be on pause for 10 days), no creams, no makeup directly on the brows, and no sun exposure (if you know you will need to be in the sun for extended periods of time you must wear a wide brimmed hat). You must let the scabbing process happen naturally. This is very important for your retention and skin healing. Do NOT pick at the scabs, scratch your brows, peel your scabs off, or scrub the area. This can result in scarring and will affect your overall retention of the pigment. After 10 days you may resume your normal life and beauty routines.

Please note: For the first 7-10 days, eyebrows will appear darker, bolder, and thicker due to scab formation and the natural skin healing process of the immune system. This is common and to be expected for all permanent makeup procedures.
